This recipe is everything you could want from a brownie. Moist, rich, gooey and incredibly chocolate-ey! I’m often disappointed by commercial brownies as they are overwhelmingly sweet when really, I’m looking for something which will satisfy my chocolate craving. This recipe delivers every time. You can replace the walnuts with something else if you prefer, other nuts, cranberries, chocolate chips, etc.Ingredients:
185g sunflower oil (available to refill in store)
185g dark chocolate
85g plain flour
40g cocoa powder
3 free range eggs
250g caster sugar
100g walnut pieces
Method:
Turn the oven on to 180 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray.
Melt the chocolate and mix with the oil, flour and cocoa powder until there are no lumps.
Whisk the eggs with the sugar until thick and creamy. Add to the chocolate mix.
Stir in the walnuts.
Transfer the brownie mixture to your baking tray. Bake for 25 minutes until the surface is shiny and papery. If you can resist, leave to cool before removing from the tin and cutting.
Enjoy!
