Proper Welsh cakes need currants so we couldn’t very well open a shop in Wales selling dried fruit without these tart little beauties
These intensely flavoured organic currants are the traditional dried fruit addition to the famous Welsh cake. They are also commonly used in other baking, including fruit cakes and Eccles cakes.
