This oak smoked sea salt was awarded 3 Gold Stars in 2019 Great Taste Awards, the highest accolade in the Oscars of the food world. Described by the judges as ‘the most wonderful sea salt.’
Originally smoked from the offcuts of Welsh kissing gates, we now slowly smoke this salt over oak chippings. The smoky flavour works brilliantly with scrambled eggs and caramel desserts.
Wonderful on:
– buttered new potatoes
– organic scrambled eggs on sourdough
– roasted butternut squash
– a classic mushroom risotto
– anything with aubergine
