Christmas in Crickhowell

Our pop up shop yesterday at the Christmas event in Crickhowell was our first foray as shop owners and we were a bit nervous.  We shouldn’t have been! The shop was more popular than we had ever expected and the lovely people of Crickhowell gave us such an enthusiastic and positive reception we were overwhelmed.  We spoke to so many supportive people, including the deputy leader of the Green Party and the local MP.

The problem of plastic pollution is one which resonates with so many people and it was great to hear that this issue is so well recognised here, with many people making positive changes already.

The work done by the team renovating the Corn Exchange has been incredible and the community spirit which has driven the project was clear in everyone we spoke to.  We can’t wait to be a part of this community and to open our doors to customers keen to join the zero waste revolution.

We will be busy fitting out the shop over the next few months but the momentum from this event will definitely keep us motivated through until March 2018 when we open.  Thank you to everyone who came over to say hello.

  1. So looking forward to your shop opening! So sorry to have missed the Christmas event, it would have been nice toert you. An enterprise very much needed in this consumerist age. I look forward to being one of you regular customers!

    1. Hi Gay,

We don’t have a mailing list as such, but if you are on social media we provide regular updates on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Hope that helps 🙂
