Description
Our strong wholemeal flour is produced from a grain called Mariagertoba, which is a population wheat. This means its been developed from different varieties to produce a strong bread flour . The grains are grown organically at 5 miles from the mill, at Llanigon. These are then transported to Talgarth Mill (just 12 miles from us) where they are milled using a traditional watermill.
Talgarth Mill is an incredible community project which restored an old water mill. The mill is run by a team of dedicated volunteers.
