Description

Soapnuts are dried fruit shells which naturally contain saponin.  These are a natural, non-polluting, compostable alternative to conventional cleaning products.  The saponin is released when they come into contact with water.  They help free dirt and grime from clothes and help carry it away.

Certified vegan and organic.  100% biodegradable and compostable.  Hypoallergenic.  Phosphate and SLS free.  Palm oil free.  Cruelty free.  Anti-fungal and anti-microbial.

Our Organic wild-crafted Soapnuts (free from pesticide and not contributing to deforestation) are grown in forests in rural parts of India, which are actually owned by some of the farmers/collectors. Our soapnuts employ many unskilled workers through contract-farming.

Directions for use: place 5 soapnuts in a bag (a sock also works) and put in the washing machine drum with your clothes.  No need for any detergent.  The washing cycle releases the saponin and cleans the clothes.
